Common Questions
What Clients Want to Know
How quickly can I be seen?
Most new clients have a free consultation within a day or two and a first full session within the same week.
Are sessions online or in person?
Sessions are held online through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform for adults located anywhere in Maine.
How long is a therapy session?
Individual sessions are 55 minutes.
Do you take insurance?
Yes. I accept several insurance plans. Visit willowsofgracecounseling.lovable.app for current details and to check your coverage.
Can faith be part of my therapy?
Yes. Christian faith and values can be woven into our work if you want that — with the love of Christ and grace at the center — and left out entirely if you don't.
What actually happens in the first session?
We slow down and get to know your story — what's hurting, what you've already tried, and what you want your life to look like. You'll leave with a clear sense of direction.
How long will I be in therapy?
That depends on your goals. Some people come for a focused season of a few months; others stay longer for deeper transformation. We review progress together regularly.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between us, with the narrow legal exceptions around safety that I'll walk you through in our first session.
Are speaking engagements available?
Yes. I offer live workshops, virtual webinars, retreat sessions, and customized presentations on topics like Faith & Mental Health, Grace Over Shame, Identity & Worth, Anxiety & Overthinking, Healthy Boundaries, Christian Coping Skills, and Trauma & Healing.
What makes Willows of Grace different?
This practice blends clinical skill with genuine warmth and grace. You are not a problem to fix — you are a life worth understanding, and our work reflects that.

Come As You Are
I know reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’re used to handling things on your own. You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly where to begin. Come as you are. I’d be honored to hear your story, meet you where you are, and walk alongside you as you move toward greater peace, confidence, connection, and hope.
